NO$GBA (short for NoCash Game Boy) is a Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Pocket and Super Game Boy emulator for Microsoft Windows and MS-DOS, with optimized versions made for MS-DOS running under Intel 80486 or Intel 80386, as well as an MS-DOS version for the IBM PC XT & AT machines. Because of the age of the program, it has been designed to run on Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows 2000. A "Lite" version for MS-DOS is also available that lacks debugging functions.
History[]
The first public release was version 1.0 in September 1997, although development can be traced back to April 1997, with NO$GMB starting off as a derivative of the NO$CPCAmstrad CPC emulator.
Shareware[]
The monochrome and Super Game Boy functionality are freeware, but the Game Boy Colour emulation functionality is shareware.
