The NVIDIA GeForce 200 Series is a family of graphics processing units, using the Tesla microarchitecture, developed by NVIDIA, to succeed the GeForce 8 series. The series contains both desktop GPUs and mobile GPUs, the first of which being the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280, released in June 2008. GPUs within this series are connected to the mainboard via the PCIe 2.0 x16 bus interface. All the cards within this series support DirectX 10 or 10.1.
The series is considered EOL. Driver support will be discontinued on April 1, 2016. [1]
