Perfect World is a fantasy MMORPG developed by Beijing Perfect World. Based on the Chinese creation mythology it is set in a world created by Pangu, a world of magic and high fantasy, featuring three major playable races -- Humans, Winged Elves and Untamed—in a rich and diverse oriental setting.

Races[]

Human[]

For ages the Humans, champions of morality and societal grace, have dominated commerce and diplomacy in Perfect World. They value duty, honor, and respect of tradition, some are driven by a desire for fortune and power, others are possessed by a hunger for exploration and adventure. Simple yet effective, human warfare consists of both blade and magic techniques.

Blademaster[]

Resolute, righteous, and courageous—these are the defining traits of a Blademaster. Coming from a long line of seasoned warriors, these damage dealers have been hardened by years of combat training. Specialists in melee combat, Blademasters can also master and harness Chi, their inner energy, to channel the most devastating attacks. They can learn 4 different types of weapon usage; blades, spears, axes, and fist attacks. The Blademasters are capable of wearing light armor, which allows them to have a higher elemental defense, and heavy armor, which allows them to have a higher physical strength. Changing between armors can help you survive against any type of creatures.

Wizard[]

Human-wizard

A human wizard.

Scholars of the arcane, Wizards learned that armor is needed only when the enemy is allowed to move in close. Thus, they utilize the elements of nature through a variety of long-ranged and high-powered magical attacks that they have developed. As masters of magic Wizards are vulnerable while casting, but when their casting is complete, they deal great damage to enemies.

Untamed[]

Through the 'Way of Nature' all thoughtful creatures have the potential for conscious perception. After the god Pan Gu imbued the creatures of the Perfect World with the capacity for thought, a small collective of beasts developed consciousness and cultivated their talents for themselves and their brethren. Now, their kind is referred to as the Untamed, their abilities focussed on physical strength and poisonous, debilitating magics.

Barbarians[]

Having evolved from tigers, lions, and other bestial hunters, Barbarians are fortified for melee combat, a natural born warrior for the battlefield where they are most comfortable taking hits and returning the punishment. These hunters also have a range of powerful spells at their disposal and can shapeshift into tiger form.

Venomancers[]

Venomancers have originated from an assortment of foxes, serpents and other small creatures, they are cute, seductive, and deadly. Do not be misled by their winning smile or bushy tail, for these foxy-ladies specialize in poisonous concoctions and should be considered very deadly. Venomancers have the ability to charm and tame animals as their pets to fight for them, and can take the form of a fox.

Winged Elves[]

From an ancient and divine bloodline the Winged Elves hail, their exquisite beauty, heigthened sense and the ability to fly are the result of divine seed borne by mortal maidens. The Winged Elves specialize in archery and supportive healing magic.

Archers[]

These are the elves' fighters. they specialize in ranging using bows, crossbows and slingshots. too are the capable of magic spells, usually for improving their bow's strength and attack. This makes them strong enemy's, especially when teaming with clerics and meleers.

Clerics[]
