PictoChat is an wireless IM program built into the Nintendo DS that allows users to communicate through both typing text and drawing images. Many games have a "PictoChat Search" feature that alerts players if someone else with a DS is using PictoChat in the area.
Use[]
PictoChat is accessed through the DS's main menu. Once there, there are four chat rooms available, each capable of holding 16 different users. You can draw or write messages using the touch screen and send them to each of the other users. Each user's "comment" (set through the DS's personal preferences) can also be read in the chat room by tapping a user's name. PictoChat also keeps a backlog of all the comments made to a certain point.
