Pokémon Yellow Version: Special Pikachu Edition is the sequel to Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Blue Version. Because of the newer hardware, the game was adapted to take advantage of the Nintendo 3DS' Wireless capabilities in lieu of the Game Boy Link Cable for multi-player and trading.
