Difference Between an Android TV and a Normal Television

A smart TV, also referred to as an Internet-connected television set, is simply a traditional television equipped with built-in web and interactive Web 2.0 technologies, so that users can stream videos and music, surf the web, and watch photos. Smart TVs are truly a combination of traditional televisions and digital televisions, a technological convergence of computers, televisions and digital media players into one convenient set. They are becoming more common among homes in developed countries such as the U.K., where many people own computers and can either watch TV or play video games via a game console. In countries like Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea, however, this is not the case; there are more traditionalists who prefer to watch TV shows and movies on more practical sets, such as TV screens.

The difference between a traditional LCD TV and a Mobdro may be very clear when it comes to the way channels are accessed. With traditional television sets, viewers sit in front of the television and are required to turn the television on before they can begin watching; with smart TVs, users can simply point their TV at the channel they want to watch. They have similar features such as high definition picture quality, wide screen mode, fast response time, voice recognition, and easy navigation and access to information, as well as clear picture and sound. Some smart TVs come with built-in software that allows the user to surf the Internet, watch TV shows, or even play games. Most models of these types of television devices are able to connect to wireless networks and download content from websites.

However, not all smart tv's are created equally. There are many differences between the two kinds of television devices, ranging from features to price. One of the biggest differences between the two is that whereas a vanced android TV requires an internet connection for the television itself, a normal television will work with any internet connectivity, even with slow or dial-up connections. Another major difference is that while an android TV will need a monthly service fee, a normal television does not. A normal television also has a much longer range than an android TV; While an android TV can only work on a single room's internet connectivity, a normal television can cover up to 100 rooms. Thus, the main deciding factor in buying a smart television will probably be whether or not it will work with an existing internet connection.
