A Prestige class is an advanced class found in RPGs that is normally obtained after a character completes a number of prerequisites such as reaching a certain level, using a specific item, or completing a certain trial or other type of stipulation. When a character reaches their respective prestige, this will allow that character to follow a more narrow path, and most likely resets their level or rank to 1.
