Rally Championship is a series of rally video games, focused on rally racing and based on the Rally GB. The series began in 1993 and ended in 2002. Each game in the series had many different front covers.

Network Q RAC Rally (1993)[edit | edit source]

The first game of the series was Network Q RAC Rally Championship, released in 1993 for MS-DOS. The game had basic movements and graphics from the early 90s, although it had quite good graphics for its time.

Network Q RAC Rally (1996)[edit | edit source]

The second game in the series was also called Network Q RAC Rally Championship, exact same name as the first game. It was released for MS-DOS and Windows in 1996. This new version has more tracks, cars, and better graphics.

A 1997 version also came, which included a X-Miles add-on and some newer features. This version was published by Actualize instead of Europress.

International Rally[edit | edit source]

International Rally Championship came in November 1997, and became available for Windows and PlayStation. New features arrived, such as Track Editor and playable up to 8 players via LAN.

Mobil 1 Rally[edit | edit source]

Mobil 1 Rally Championship came in December 1999, for Windows and PlayStation. The Windows version of the game has been viewed as one of the most realistic game, due to very high quality graphics for its time. The game is sometimes called Rally Championship 2000.

Xtreme[edit | edit source]

Rally Championship Xtreme came in November 2001 for Windows.

Rally Championship[edit | edit source]

Confusingly, the sixth game of the series was called Rally Championship, the same name as its series. It was released for PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube in May 2002.
