Red Steel is the name of an upcoming Wii game. It is the first Revolution game officially announced, title and all. It was announced on April 7 through a leak of a preview in the pages of gaming magazine, Game Informer. The game uses Nintendo's unique motion-sensitive controller to simulate the use of, at the very least, a gun and a katana.

The story revolves around an American protagonist in Japan, who's fiancee is taken by the Yakuza. It turns out she is the daughter of a Yakuza boss, and the enemy is using his daughter as a way to get what they want from him. The main character takes matters in his own hands, where a "respect" system will play a major role, which must be gained from other gangs. You can even make enemies surrender and spare their life by taking away their weapons, rather than simply killing them all. Some environment interaciton, such as pushing objects for cover, is said to be possible.

The development team is made up of people from Splinter cell series, Prince of Persia, Ghost Recon and Far Cry Instincts.
