Room 104

Upon starting the game, you will find yourself in Room 104 as the character, Matt. It is important to take note of the letters on the door, as they indicate the number of lives you have remaining. To ensure preservation of your lives, it is recommended to follow this guide.

In the bathroom, there is a chest of drawers against the wall. Caution should be exercised when attempting to open the middle drawer without the proper key, as this will result in the loss of a life. To proceed, open the first drawer on the left and take note of the code, 373. Additionally, there is a box located in the cupboard above the sink which can be opened using the aforementioned code. Inside the box, you will find a key. Use this key to open the middle drawer of the dresser and retrieve your clothes. A key can also be found within your clothes, which can be used to exit the bathroom.

Upon entering the living room, retrieve the flashlight located on a bedside table. It is important to avoid touching any other objects in the room to prevent injury. Proceed to the kitchen to retrieve a kettle on the stove. Return to the bathroom and turn on the faucet to fill the sink with water. Use the kettle to fill it with water.

In the kitchen, turn on the thermostat to turn on the stove. Place the kettle on the fire to heat the water. Once hot, use the kettle to eliminate the bug on the kitchen table. Take the key from the plate to exit the room.

Upon exiting Room 104, a Quick-Time-Event will be triggered. It is important to closely follow the instructions displayed on the screen to safely pass through the shed. In the storage room, retrieve the gun from the shelf, as well as the bullets, to defend yourself. However, it should be noted that it is possible to complete Oxide: Room 104 without using a single bullet and there are several alternative paths available. Take the key to Room 111, which can be found on the skull hanging on the right wall, and the map to open the door and exit. You can then proceed to either Room 111 or Room 109.

Once in Room 111, located on the west ground floor of the motel, you will find three pots arranged on the kitchen dining table. It is possible to encounter an enemy in this room, and you have the option of evading it through stealth or eliminating it with the use of your pistol. Approach the table and crouch down to discover symbols. The round symbol indicates the location of the key. It is important to not open the other two jars, as it may result in injury. The key obtained will grant access to Room 103. After obtaining the key, it is recommended to leave the room.

Upon entering Room 103, located on the east ground floor of the motel, retrieve a bag from the seat in the center of the room to increase storage capacity for your inventory. Search the drawers in the room to obtain a key for the bathroom. The location of the key may vary based on the game. Once in possession of the key, enter the bathroom. Retrieve the rubber ducky from the bathtub and examine the object underneath to discover the word "J-O-B". Return to the bedroom and search the drawers to find three wooden blocks with the letters J, O, and B. Once acquired, place the blocks in the order of J-O-B on the bucket near the cradle. The key to Room 202 will appear in the cradle. Obtain the key and exit the room.

Proceed to Room 202, located on the east side of the first floor of the motel. To reach this room, you must take the stairs in the courtyard. It is important to be cautious in this area as it is flammable, and care should be taken to avoid firing your gun, as it may cause the gas canisters to explode. To progress in the room, it is essential to have obtained a key for the bathroom. If you do not possess a key, consider the solution for Room 210 to obtain one. In Room 202, if there are enemies present, it is recommended to discreetly evade them in order to reach the bathroom. Once inside the bathroom, open the hatch located against the wall above the bathtub to access Room 203. In the kitchen of Room 203, you can find a source of life on a shelf.

Room 203

In Room 203, you must obtain matches from the last drawer of the small chest of drawers located in the corner of the room. If enemies are present in the room, it is recommended to use stealth tactics to evade them. In the kitchen area, you will find a gas can under the sink. Use the gas can on the organic brambles to douse them in gasoline, and then use the matches to ignite the fire, providing access to a ladder. Climb the ladder to reach the second floor of the motel, specifically Room 303.

To exit Room 303, retrieve the key from a block on the table in the living room. Proceed to the bathroom and turn on the bathtub faucet to fill the basin with water. Place the key inside the block in the basin. Search the room to locate a can of nail polish remover, which may be found under the kitchen sink or under the living room table. Pour the solvent into the tub to dissolve the block and release the key. Use a blacksmith tool, located in the kitchen, on a wooden seat to retrieve the key from the bath. Before leaving the room, collect one of the two room keys, 301 or 305, to continue. It is recommended to choose the key for Room 305, as it does not contain any enemies in the room.

If you have chosen to proceed with Room 305, the following actions can be taken: In the living room, acquire the violin in its case on the bed. Use the violin on the arms of the dummy located near the piano. Search the drawers in the room to obtain a key for the bathroom. The location of the key may vary based on the game. Once in possession of the key, enter the bathroom and retrieve a sheet of music from a wooden box located on the chest of drawers opposite the bathtub. Place the sheet music on the music stand near the piano. Go behind the dummy sitting on the piano bench and push it, causing the piano to play. A metal key will appear above the piano keys. From this point, you can proceed to the reception to complete the game or continue exploring the motel.

Room 210

Room 210 is an alternate path to access Room 203. You can access this room upon reaching the courtyard. To open Room 210, retrieve a hook from a barrel in front of the shed or from a table near the pool. Once obtained, go to the pool to locate a red cross. Position yourself at the indicated location and use the hook to retrieve the key from the pool. Open the door to Room 210. Inside, go to the kitchen area to locate the key to Room 109 in one of the drawers. It is recommended to quickly exit the room to avoid being caught by the monster that has appeared.

In Room 109, go to the living room to locate a brick on a barrel. Use the brick on the bar cabinet next to it to open the cabinet. Be cautious as a monster may appear. Eliminate the monster to continue. Collect the box inside the bar cabinet. Go to the bedroom entrance and push the clock against the wall. Activate the lever behind it to insert a coin. Turn the wheel on the game table to reveal the numbers: 11, 21, 34. Use these numbers on the box to obtain a key to Room 209.

Room 209

In Room 209, be mindful of the monster's projectiles as it swallows its meal. Run to the left-hand table to retrieve the double keys for Room 203.

Room 301[ | ]

Room 301

Enter the bedroom and use the bathroom key to unlock the bathroom. Eliminate the enemy inside. Use the bolt cutter found inside to break the chain on the grid leading to the reception.

Room 101[ | ]

Room 101

To enter Room 101, acquire the shovel located in the outer courtyard hallway across from the shed. Go to the foot of the inner space stairs to the east and dig to obtain the key for Room 101. Inside Room 101, go to the bathroom to retrieve an emblem from the bathroom cabinet. Use the emblem on the wolf book in the kitchen to obtain the key for Room 206.

To enter Room 206, you will need the key obtained in Room 101 and a gas mask. Go to the back of the second-floor landing to find a gas mask in a tub. Enter Room 206 to find the key for Room 108 on a tomb. Avoid opening the bathroom to prevent confrontation with a monster.

In Room 108, inscriptions on the wall indicate which samples should not be taken. In this case, the numbers 15, 83, 87, and 62 are listed. Take the remaining sample, in this case 96, to open the armored door. Be cautious as a monster may be hiding inside. Eliminate the monster and collect the key for Room 203 from the bin.

Navigate through the motel and find a way to escape while avoiding traps and enemies. The player takes on the role of Matt, who wakes up in a bathroom in room 104 with no memory of how he got there. The player must use clues and items found throughout the motel to solve puzzles and progress through the game. Along the way, the player may encounter a variety of characters, including a mysterious woman, a grotesque creature, and a scarred man in an orange jumpsuit, who treated Matt roughly. The player must also contend with a deranged scientist known as "Doc" and his creation, "Eva," who are central to the game's plot. The ultimate goal is to reach the reception area and escape the motel, and the ending of the game may vary depending on the player's choices and actions. /v//
