SR388 is the home planet of the metroid species where they roam freely. It has many caverns and tunnels below its surface. Other species live on the planet, including the X Parasite. Samus was instructed to kill all the metroids on the planet. Appeared in Metroid II: Return of Samus and Metroid Fusion, where it was destroyed.
