Space Armada is a game released for the Intellivision.
Gameplay[]
The game is a modified adaptation of Space Invaders.
The player uses a laser cannon to shoot at an armada of 32 aliens moving slowly back and forth while descending towards the Earth and bunkers to hide out from the falling bombs, but watch out for spinners and guided missiles that can follow you around on the ground. Things get harder as you clear one level after another.
The game features both a normal game mode as well as a practice mode where the alien armada moves slower and the level constantly repeats itself. If practice mode is selected right after losing the game at a higher game level in normal mode, the practice mode will repeat the last level that was played continuously.
