Spec Ops: Rangers Lead The Way is a first person tactical shooter video game with strategy elements. It was developed by Zombie Studios and was published by Ripcord Games. The game launched exclusively on the Microsoft Windows platform on April 30, 1998. It is the first game in the long running Spec Ops series. A add-on, Spec Ops: Ranger Team Bravo was released later that year on November 17, 1998.
