Spyro: Year of the Dragon is a 3D platformer game developed by Insomniac Games for the PlayStation. It stars the title character, a young purple dragon named Spyro and is the third in the series of Spyro the Dragon video games. It was the last game for the PlayStation and the last to be developed by the original developer, Insomniac Games, it is often considered the last true Spyro game.

An evil villain from the Forgotten Realms has stolen the dragon eggs, its up to Spyro to enter these forgotten realms and take back the Dragon Eggs. He will meet a lot of new friends along the way including: Shiela, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley and Agent nine.
