Collectibles[]
The game is split into several areas called "kingdoms", each of which has a different theme. Each kingdom contains "Power Moons", which serve as the game's primary collectible, and can be used to power up the Odyssey. There will also be 50-100 purple regional coins scattered throughout kingdoms with Crazy Cap stores, which can be used to purchase regional souvenirs and outfits. A minimum of 124 Power Moons are required to complete the main story, and there are a total of 880 unique Power Moons throughout the game.

Purple Coin Guide[]
Most of the kingdoms have Purple Coins themed after the kingdom they reside. These Purple Coins can be used at the kingdom's Crazy Cap store to purchase souvenirs unique to that kingdom, such as alternate outfits, stickers for the Odyssey, or miscellaneous items to adorn the Odyssey's interior. Kingdoms with purple coins will have either 50 or 100 Purple Coins.
