A talent is an individual, learnable skill found in MMORPGs. Found on a talent tree, talents are a way for players to improve their character by adding new abilities using points they obtained either through leveling up, or as a reward for completing quests or achievements, depending on the game. In World of Warcraft, players choose a few different specs for their character, with each spec having a talent tree and a large number of talents to choose from.
