Is the Game Boy Player really a Console? You can't use it unless you have a GameCube. Therefore should it really have the Console and Handheld console categories? I can see how they're relevant, but maybe just having an other relevant articles/see also section with links to Game Boy stuff at the bottom of the article might be more err... I don't know what to call it, it just seems more correct, to me anyway.
It requires a GameCube and a Gameboy so it's not a stand alone piece of hardware. I'd say then it's just a peripheral for both devices. Any reason why it should be anything more? Porphyria Plan
Ahh, but you don't need a Gameboy. You just need a cartridge.--Demandred82 13:07, 11 Nov 2005 (CST)
Really? Where will it display the game you're playing? --Porphyria Plan 13:14, 11 Nov 2005 (CST)
On to the TV-Via the Gamecube. So in the general discussion, no, this is not a console, yes this is a peripheral.- AlphaTwo
