"Doom Wiki: no admin answer"?[]
Excuse me? I am one of the three current admins on the Doom Wiki (albeit mostly inactive), and I for one never received such a request. Despite my not being very active on that wiki any longer, if the request had been made through the proper channels (Entryway or Central Processing) it would have reached me. When and how was it made? I think it should be re-submitted. — RobertATfm (talk) 16:11, May 4, 2016 (UTC)
"Edit with form" Button[]
Is it possible to disable this button, and have the normal edit button by default? I guess because I'm so used to the normal edit button being there, and accidentally hitting the form button is a bit annoying. Thoughts? RGeezy911 • Talk • Have a Potato! 02:22, May 6, 2016 (UTC)
PS: I am referring to the button on this page only.
- This is a side-effect of the Semantic Forms extension that we have installed. I'll see what I can do.--TwoTailedFox (talk) 07:11, May 6, 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks to some assistance, this issue has now been resolved. Please let me know if you see any unusual behaviour.--TwoTailedFox (talk) 18:01, May 6, 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for the change! It seems to be working without any issues, but I'll leave a message on your wall if anything comes up. --RGeezy911 • Talk • Have a Potato! 18:32, May 6, 2016 (UTC)

Most of them are pretty good at representing the wikis in their respective footer, but theres 2 in particular I'd like to point out. The Simulation Games picture includes 2 Sims from The Sims 4. The Sims wiki isn't in the footer though, and while SimCity is, the characters aren't from that.
Second is the Music Games footer. The girl in it is a Vocaloid called Merli, and while the Vocaloid wiki is in the footer Merli has never actually appeared in any of the Vocaloid music games. Miku would probably be a better choice, as she's the main character of the Project Diva music games.
Anyways, just some feedback/2 cents I wanted to share, (not sure if this is the right place for it!) OJ Tsuyoshi (talk) 06:48, June 5, 2016 (UTC)
- This is totally the right place :)
- Good catch on The Sims not being included. Turns out the discussion whether to add it or not had been moved on their site, so I wasn't even aware they had accepted the invitation :P Now they're on there.
- As for Miku, I think my line of reasoning was that I couldn't find a full-length transparent png with her holding any sort of instrument or microphone, so I went with Merli instead. Everything I've found of Miku is either non-transparent or chops her off at the knees.Raylan13 (talk) 16:21, June 9, 2016 (UTC)
Thanks! I don't really know of any official art of Miku with a microphone either so that makes sense.
One last thing about footer appearances, how are they customized? Like I noticed the Fire Emblem wiki has a blue footer with square edges. OJ Tsuyoshi (talk) 18:00, June 17, 2016 (UTC)
- Admins can customize their footers through their site's css, which is what I suspect they did there. Pretty much any element can be changed ;) Raylan13 (talk) 18:10, June 17, 2016 (UTC)

Why don't you split it between Western RPGs and Japanese RPGs? Welcome to your doom! 02:40, August 8, 2016 (UTC)
- That's the plan in the somewhat-soon future ;) Just have to find the time, but there's some pressing game/expansion releases I've been attending to. Hoping to get to it in the next few weeks, as it's growing obnoxiously large :P Raylan13 (talk) 17:36, August 12, 2016 (UTC)
Watch Dogs Wiki[]
Not really sure where to nominate this on the page, so I'll say it here. I'd like the Watch Dogs Wiki (watchdogs.gamepedia.com) to be included on the Action Adventure games template. Please do this. Thank you. Chris6d (talk) 14:26, October 31, 2016 (UTC)
- Added and approved :) Anytime you want to nominate a site, just go to the section that's most appropriate and pop it in the Submissions section ;) Raylan13 (talk) 15:34, October 31, 2016 (UTC)
Idea[]
Would it be feasible to have a footer for gaming companies, or maybe a "general gaming" footer to include not only companies but also other gaming-related wikis not focused just on gaming franchises? Just tossing a idea. Welcome to your doom! 22:37, February 20, 2017 (UTC)
- If there's enough of them that meet the requirements, sure :) If you see any that do, feel free to toss them in here, and then I can create a footer. Raylan13 (talk) 17:08, February 24, 2017 (UTC)
Capcom and Japanese PC Games would be better at this new footer, and SNK could be added as well. Others I can think of are /v/'s recommended Games, Humongous Entertainment, Rare and Sega. Welcome to your doom! 17:20, February 26, 2017 (UTC)
- Some of those don't meet the minimum activity requirement - we'd have to find at least a couple more, but that's a good start. I'll add a section later today, and once there's enough added, I'll make the footer :) Raylan13 (talk) 15:55, March 3, 2017 (UTC)
Inactive community[]
Hello. I am the admin of Voyage Century Wiki. I noticed it was removed from the footer exchange program due to an inactive community. I wonder, what is considered an active community? Currently I am the only active editor. Is there a some sort of a limit on how many editors it needs to have? DSofa (talk) 19:52, March 13, 2017 (UTC)
- From the overview:
- Be active; this means about an edit a day plus about 7000 page views for the current week. Note that this is approximate - the two are weighed together, so just because a site is lacking in one area does not mean they are automatically excluded.
- Raylan13 (talk) 23:15, March 13, 2017 (UTC)
- Well 7000 page views sounds a lot, I feel it would completely exclude some smaller communities, although it depends on how much is weighted. Voyage Century is not a big game. We get around 100-200 page views per day out of which maybe 30 are actual organic views, others are probably various bots and crawlers. I guess this will be improved once we get more articles cause its pretty bare bones right now. Thank you for your answer. DSofa (talk) 00:12, March 14, 2017 (UTC)
- Yep, that's why it's weighted. For large communities, 7k is super small. Like you said, though, smaller communities might struggle for that number. But if there's a solid editor there, it actually is weighed more in that direction. Also keep in mind that anyone at any time can request a review to see if a site meets eligibility - you don't have to wait until the six-month review period ;) Raylan13 (talk) 01:51, March 14, 2017 (UTC)

Adding[]
How to adding an another wiki in this Footer?--https://vignette2.wiki.nocookie.net/itkingdomhearts/images/0/04/Roxas_Falso_Sprite.png/revision/latest?cb=20100316194914&path-prefix=itCavaX22:29, April 1, 2017 (UTC)
- Submit the site in the General games section on the Gaming footers page. I'll take a look at it and then see if it meets the criteria shown on the footers page. Raylan13 (talk) 23:27, April 3, 2017 (UTC)
- Ok,thanks.--https://vignette2.wiki.nocookie.net/itkingdomhearts/images/0/04/Roxas_Falso_Sprite.png/revision/latest?cb=20100316194914&path-prefix=itCavaX 12:07, April 11, 2017 (UTC)
ARK: Survival Evolved Wiki[]
Why is ARK: Survival Evolved in the strategy game footer? It isn't classified as a strategy game, instead it is an action/adventure game. Also, the link is broken, it is missing the d in Evolved. Zeta1127 of the 89th Legion (talk) 03:07, April 10, 2017 (UTC)
- I can't recall why it was placed in Strat - but I've moved it to Action/Adventure now and will update those footers. Raylan13 (talk) 15:58, April 10, 2017 (UTC)

Hello. I came here with the intention of submitting a wiki for the Shoot'Em Up gaming footer, but sadly I just discovered it was taken down. I would like to know the reasons why this decision was taken, if you don't mind; or if there is a discussion where the topic was addressed, please link me to it.
Thank you in advance.

- There weren't enough sites to fill the footer that met the requirements; as such, those that were included have been folded into the General gaming footer. Raylan13 (talk) 15:00, May 16, 2018 (UTC)
- I see, thank you for responding.
- Is the idea of reinstating the Shoot'Em Up footer at some point completely abandoned?

.io Wikis[]
I see the only active submission for a .io wiki to be added to the footer is the Powerline.io Wiki, and I assume it's been this way for a while due to one reason: low page count. Yes, the wiki doesn't have a lot of pages (almost 40), but it contains all the possible information regarding the game; nothing else can be added to it, it's complete and accurate. And I'm not just saying that because I'm bureaucrat there, I'm just stating it as an opinion. So maybe it's time that the wiki is added to the footer, as it is an 'official' .io game wiki. Thanks for your consideration. Chris6d (talk) 19:31, August 1, 2018 (UTC)
