The World of Cars Online is a new virtual world based on the Cars film series. The game is still under development with Open Beta, which launched on March 1, 2010.[2] There was a sneak peek of the World of Cars called the Test Track which started in October 2008 and ended in November 2009 to make way for Open Beta.[3] The site launched on June 29, 2010. Each car was given 2,010 coins, an Open Beta Participant Badge, and a Founder Badge.

- Try to catch Sunflowers. These rare ingredients reduce the Boom factor in your mixes and make them less messed up.

Gameplay[]
The World of Cars Online allows users to customize their own car, chat with other players, decorate your own yard, race against friends, and complete different quests with all of your favorite movie characters. There will also be different mini games to earn coins such as Mater's Tractor Tipping.[5] As you explore and play games you'll earn different badges such as a Tractor Tipping Badge.[6] The website has also hinted that it might be possible to be other vehicles like trains and fire trucks.
Racing[]
Racing is a main component of the World of Cars Online. Besides racing for different quests against computer players, you'll also be able to participate in multi-player racing against your friends. The Pit Crew has revealed some information about racing such as "Hazards" which will be used to slow down other players behind you. Examples of a Hazards would be an oil spill and a hay bale. You'll be able to obtain different Hazards from Sarge.[7]
