The one who pulls out the sword will be crowned king is a short game about trying to pull out the sword while holding click for as long as possible. It was developed and published by Majorariatto and it was released on Steam for Microsoft Windows on March 28, 2022.

Gameplay[]

It is a short experimental game about pulling a sword from a stone to be crowned king, like in the Arthurian legend.

The player can grab the sword with their mouse and try to pull it out from the stone. If they are able to get it all the way out, they will be "crowned king" in the game.

However, despite this, the player is usually not the only one trying. Each time someone else online pulls it out, the sword will get longer and heavier, and the more they wait, the harder it will be. However, this does not affect offline mode.

If the player manages to pull it out, they will receive a corresponding achievement proving that they are considered a king and not a peasant.

Soundtrack[]

The soundtrack of this game was composed by Alejandro Maciá. It was released separately on Steam on March 28, 2022, the same day the game was released. The OST includes the singed title, the sword theme and the coronation theme. It is around 100MB and cost $0.99. Given that the game is freeware, buying the OST could help support the developer.
