Hello Heaven's Agent, and thanks for askingĀ :)

Being hosted by Wiki has quite a few advantages, namely in that you no longer need to worry about how to make the wiki run behind-the-scenes (or worry about paying hosting costs). With that burden out of the way, you can focus on more important things such as content and gaining new contributors. With Wiki's enormous community, you can almost always find those new people that help your site keep running. In addition, Wiki has so many cool features that I couldn't even begin to list them all.

If the pathfinder wiki chooses to come to Wiki, you would likely be able to keep as your domain name. I'm not entirely sure about this, but it is certainly something that you should ask the person that helps you with the move, should your wiki decide to go through with it. Since I'm not a Wiki staffer myself, I can't really give you any details on what all goes on, but I've let them know about this and you should be hearing a reply from them soon.

Hello! I'm Uberfuzzy, from the Wiki Community Team. Yes, what Skizzerz said was correct, those are very great reasons for moving to Wiki. Here's some info, and a list of other reasons (some of which Skiz already covered).
Also, we can assist you in moving your existing wiki's contents over by doing a server side import of your database information, avoiding many of the web interface's limitations.
As for the domain, your new wiki would be probably be something like, but we can help you setup your domain name to forward to the new Wiki name (so that existing links dont break, or atleast so people can find the new site).
If this sounds like something you would like to do, you can use Special:Contact to send a message to us, and I can forward your message to the appropriate people. I hope to see your wiki at Wiki soon! --Uberfuzzy 21:55, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Re: upcoming releases

It depends on where you want to add it. If you want to give it a prominent blurb (in that it will be displayed on the "News" section on the main page), add it in at Current events. If you want to place it in that gray box to the right of the Current events page, then add it in at Template:Current events/Releases. --Skizzerz 19:30, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure then... try seeing what templates are used on those pages and attempt to locate the one you'd need to modify. --Skizzerz 20:10, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
