Gaming Footers[]

Please add your wiki to the submission section on Gaming Footers under the genre you best feel describes the game your wiki is centered around. Thanks!--TwoTailedFox (talk) 08:36, July 4, 2017 (UTC)

Alright, I've added "Pixel Gun" in the shooters category and "Bloons" in the strategy category. Approve them. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by JustLeafy (talkcontribs) .
First off, "Approve them, please." Second, User:Raylan13 handles submitted wikis, he will get to yours in due time.--TwoTailedFox (talk) 09:33, July 4, 2017 (UTC)

Created a page regarding the Vintage Apple II MECC game series[]

There was one of the games I used to enjoy a lot back in elementary school, from second through sixth grade, by the way. It is called Odell Lake. It's has been a month since we produced imaginary game show episodes of Odell Lake and we use a different fandom page to post the scores of each episode. We have done 243 episodes in the second season. (The first season was done back in years 2011-2012 and lasted only ten episodes). Here's the | Link for all of our scores from each of the Odell Lake game episodes. We post the livestream episodes on YouTube under this | YouTube Channel.

That's a pretty interesting vintage game, ngl. Thanks for your contribution! ~Signed JustLeafy ( ͡| ͜' ͡| ) USER - WALL 3:59, September 09, 2021 (UTC)

In continuing with this Odell Lake commentary thread: the highest score on the Apple II Odell Lake vintage game is 5,220 from the second season episode 234 & our second highest score is 5,175 from the same second season episode 228. All of the Odell Lake game show episodes have been uploaded on our YouTube channel. Plush Bat Fan (talk) 01:46, 10 September 2021 (UTC)

Our New High Score from Apple II Odell Lake game[]

Unbelievable! Last night, attempted to play Odell Lake on a MAME Emulator and we set a new record caught on video with a high score of 7,755. We did not even reach a score of a thousand back in elementary school. This game brought back so many memories!

Hello JustLeafy! As we already discussed, we're offering educational assistance in the Emerging Wikis Initiative. Due to are one of the admins here, you're eligible to participate. While I assume you probably don't need help in any area, anyway I always like to offer assistance, because you probably would need it in some concrete areas.

The first of the three main levels covers basic content about wikis, including:

  • Editing: editing and editors, page creation, text format, images, links, wikitext, audio, videos, preview, history, minor edit, redirect and purge
  • Content: Content seed, galleries, templates, HTML, namespace, Table of contents and SEO
  • Design: Skin, Theme Designer, themes, background, wordmark, favicon, contrast and accessibility
  • Navigation: Main page, navigation menu, categories, sitename and tables
  • Portability: FandomMobile, mobile skin, infoboxes and nested tables

Let me know if any of these could be interesting for you, and if not, I can later show you the rest of (more advanced) lessons of the course. Thanks! --CuBaN VeRcEttI (Contact) 09:38, 27 December 2021 (UTC)

Sure, I'm interested! ~Signed JustLeafy ( ͡| ͜' ͡| ) USER - WALL 9:42, December 27, 2021 (UTC)
Awesome! From this first level, for which concrete areas do you need help? --CuBaN VeRcEttI (Contact) 09:45, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
Nothing much, really. ~Signed JustLeafy ( ͡| ͜' ͡| ) USER - WALL 9:46, December 27, 2021 (UTC)
No problem at all... hahaha This is actually what I expected. The second level basically covers admin features and community management:
  • Admin features: Rights, admin dashboard, special pages, list of users, protecting, blocking, deleting, reverting, moving
  • Moderation: Message wall, blogs, comments, Discussions, recent changes, followed pages, spam, vandalism, edit count, disruptive editing
  • Policies: Licenses, policies, Terms of Use
  • Community management: Guidelines, common mistakes, best practices, advices, harassment and bullying, site notice
And once people already have a significant background about all of these, we offer a third and last level with extended content:
  • Wiki content: Advanced content and best practices about navigation, categories, main page, wiki performance, CSS and JS
  • Other admin features: Announcements, analytics, Community page, edit count, user rights, bots, extensions, DPL, parser functions, Lua
  • Moderation: Extended best practices about Discussions moderation, recent changes patrol, social activity
  • Extra initiatives: Council, app, social media, Discord, achievements, maps extension
Any interesting area for you? --CuBaN VeRcEttI (Contact) 09:50, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
Man, I know all of this, hahaha. ~Signed JustLeafy ( ͡| ͜' ͡| ) USER - WALL 9:55, December 27, 2021 (UTC)

LOL! Yeah. I actually expected you were already an expert on all these areas. Then, I can officially confirm I can't help you with this project, what actually means a lot of positive news! Thanks for your replies my friend. --CuBaN VeRcEttI (Contact) 10:42, 27 December 2021 (UTC)
