Valtion elokuvatarkastamo (VET), also known as the Finnish Board of Film Classification in English, is the main rating system in Finland, along with PEGI. It rates motion pictures and some video games.

Children that are two years younger than the given rating (with the exception of K-18) are allowed to view the content but with parental guidance.

All video games that are supposed to be available to those under eighteen must be submitted for rating. However, video games that are for adults are still subject to being inspected by the VET.

Prior to 2001, VET used to ban video games for being exceedingly violent.
