WET is a game released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Its aesthetic style seems shamelessly based on "grindhouse"-style action movies. The title of the game comes from the term wetworks, a messy job or task that involves one's hands becoming wet with blood.
Story[ | ]
You are Rubi Malone, a gun-for-hire who is sent on various missions across three continents dealing with an endless assortment of underground hoodlums. She is very deadly and not someone you want to double-cross.
Gameplay[ | ]
You guide Rubi through various environments by running, jumping, shooting at enemies, and swinging your sword at them. Rubi can perform acrobatic moves that allow her to shoot while doing flips or sliding down a ladder. She can fire her guns at two different targets at once while performing these moves. You are rewarded style points for how well you shoot your targets while doing the moves. At certain points in the level, Rubi can grab a drink to replenish her health.
