Mists of Pandaria was the fourth expansion to Blizzard Entertainment's MMORPG, World of Warcraft. World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria featured a whole new continent, Pandaria, that was revealed in the aftermath of the Cataclysm. This new continent brings with it the Pandaren, last seen in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, and a new class, the Monk; the level cap was also raised from 85 to 90.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria was the first expansion for World of Warcraft to not have a pre-launch event; players did, however, get to a play a Level 85 version of the "Theramore's Fall" scenario, that would ultimately be available to Level 90 players in the expansion itself.
