The Xbox 360 Wireless Controller is compatible with the Xbox 360, but can be used on PC with the Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for PC. This controller was bundled with all Xbox 360 consoles. This controller had about 7-8 hours of battery life using a pair of AA batteries. Microsoft later released the Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit, which came with a rechargeable battery that clipped onto the back of the controller in the battery compartment. Up to four Xbox 360 Controllers (either wired or wireless) could be used on an Xbox 360 at once.
