Template:Infobox Person Yoshinori Kitase (北瀬 佳範 Kitase Yoshinori , born September 23, 1966) is a Japanese game producer, scenario writer and former game director working for Square Enix (previously Square).
Biography[ | ]
Kitase joined the company in 1991. His most notable roles as game director are Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VII, and Final Fantasy VIII; he later worked as producer for Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. Kitase is currently working on The 3rd Birthday as executive producer and Final Fantasy XIII as producer, he is also working as a producer alongside Shinji Hashimoto on Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Kitase is the head of Square Enix's Product Development Division 1.
